Ten things I liked about 10 Things I Hate About You  

1) Catherine was a funny character, really negative. Always insulting the teacher and getting sent to the principal who was too busy writing a novel to listen to the kids' problems.

2) Bianca, Catherine's sister, was the most popular girl in school. She learns not to go out with rich snobs.

3) Carl or Chad or Cameron (no one could remember his name) was the new boy at school. He was really nice even to the nerd.

4)The Music: Cool tunes from bands like Save Ferris and Joan Jett.

5) The Paint Balloon Fight: a colorful part of the movie.

6) Bianca beats up the mean rich snob model by punching him a couple times in the face and then kicking the family jewels.

7) The big party at the nerd's house was funny because the whole school came and wrecked his house.

8) The nerdy guy dressed up like Shakespeare at the school dance and gave the girl he liked a renaissance dress. She got really excited and became his girlfriend.

9) Bianca and Catherine's dad was a doctor who worried too much about his daughters.

10) The poem where Catherine lists ten things she hates about her boyfriend: from his haircut to his combat boots, she hated that he didn't call and "she hated that she didn't hate him at all."
